  • Step 1. Always be sure to spread your pine needles 6 inches beyond the bedline into the grass.  
  • Step 2. Then use a blower (as seen here) or a rake, a shovel, or two hands to push the pine straw back to just inside the bedline. As the pine straw gathers simply roll it under and tuck it into the edge for a clean and professional touch.
